OH NO!

If I did not love the Lord so much I would seriously be cussing up a storm.

All I wanted to do was change the width of my blog and delete my background so I could make my photos bigger.

I ended up DELETING EVERY CUSTOMIZATION on my blog!!!!!

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! You know how?  By being the savvy blog girl that I am and clicking...you ready?

Delete all customizations.

It was like a malevolent force drew me like a moth to a flame to make me lose my mind on this fine Thursday morning.

You might think these HTML code thingamabobs come easy to me but I am sooooo the girl doing this for 3 hours at my computer until I can do it right.  So now I have to start all over but whatever.

But my words are remaining holy, people.  Promise. :)

  2. I did that a few weeks ago because I wanted to widen my blog before I had the custom background put on. I was so ticked!! Then when I finally got it wider & spent lots of time getting the settings back how I like them the lady who custon made it said she couldn't get the background to go on unless I set it back to my old settings! TOTALLY STINKS! I am still bummed that I couldn't widen it & am not sure how long I will leave it like it is :) Sorry you have the headache now! It took me quite a few hours!

  4. I have SO done that!!! I feel ya, so frustrating! Go scream in a pillow and then resume, ha ha! You just get clicking so fast and so excited about the new possibilities that soon what you had is LOST! I am sure once it gets figured out it will be FAB!!!

  5. It should be illegal for that button to even exist. Good luck getting it back together- so sorry!

  6. I am so, so, so sorry to hear that. That really stinks. I would be so frustrated too. I can only imagine how frustrated you must be. What a bummer.

  7. OK, you must share with me the how to widen your blog thing. My blog has been needing a major revamp for . . . I don't know . . . EVER. I really want to de-crazy it, but I'm terrified that I will lose everything. Kinda like you did.

  9. So sorry, but it will be Bigger and BETTER!

Same things happen to me when I'm making a craft project and I just want to tweak it a bit more so it'll be PERFECT,(even though I know to leave it alone) and BAM!, my tweaking usually ruins it, or makes it more imperfect that can't be changed.

    love ya! :)

  10. i'm proud of you for keeping it clean. i have to admit that although i do love the Lord so much, my language is the biggest area i have difficulty with. only when i'm totally upset though. i can (and do) carry on normal conversations with preferred language. but... i repent a lot.

  12. I found your blog from someone else who had referenced it (don't remember?!?) and have spent the ENTIRE day reading. Wow. You are an amazing person. So faithful. So crafty (love it!). So dependent on God. Definitely a fun mommy, too, I can tell :) So. . .just wanted you to know that I dropped in for a visit and if I didn't live two states away I think we would be fun friends! Prayers that a job is "right around the corner" for your husband. . .it would be nice to get to turn that corner, I know. How devastating that another opportunity was thisclose and yet not the Lord's Will. It's wonderful that you have such an amazing Lifegroup and that they are committing such prayer to your family this week. I will continue to visit and hope to see good news on the job front for you soon!

  14. Just discovered your blog, love it! Just new doing my blog, but I am so enjoying! Have deleted a few things recently or my husband has when he gets onto the computer and yesterday I thought one of my sons had deleted all my thousands of photos on the computer, aaaauuurrgh,
    but I was mistaken, phew!

  15. And this is exactly why my ugly little blog remains an ugly little blog. Until I can rent a geek, I avoid clicking on most things.

Sorry Jess but it still looks great and you are still wonderful. So there.

  16. LOL, so cute!
I discovered your blog today, and I am trying my best not to pin it all to Pinterest, so I am trying so hard to reaaally select what to pin. The twine napkin rings with fabric flowers are a hit!

I love, love, love, comments and I read every one! Please keep in mind that I sometimes moderate each one so it may take a bit before it appears on the post. Thanks my sweet friends!
