A Funny Email I Got...

Today I received this forward and though I am not a fan of forwards this made me laugh out loud. I really wondered what I would do if I saw this with my own two eyes. I am also a teeny weeny bit ashamed that this brought me enjoyment since it reveals a sick side to my humor. Read what they guy writes below who was responsible for this...

"Good news is that I truly out did myself this year with my Christmas decorations. The bad news is that I had to take him down after 2 days. I had more people come screaming up to my house than ever.Great stories. But two things made me take it down...

First, the cops advised me that it would cause traffic accidents as they almost wrecked when they drove by.

Second, a 55 year old lady grabbed the 75 pound ladder almost killed herself putting it against my house and didn't realize it was fake until she climbed to the top (she was not happy). By the way, she was one of many people who attempted to do that. My yard couldn't take it either. I have more than a few tire tracks where people literally drove up my yard."

Best Christmas decoration of the year!

  2. That happened in my state and was on our local news. The guy almost got fined for it, b/c he was provoking chaos or something like that. Plus he was backing up the street on which he lived (which is also a slightly heavily traveled road), b/c people were slowing down to look or even stopping like he said. I laughed at the humor of it, but at the same time thought that it was cruel and unusual. Might not have been so bad if he didn't live in a bigger city I suppose.

PS: I found your blog form Shabby Blogs featured blog and LOVE your writings.

  8. That is hilarious! I love it. I had almost the exact same decoration in my yard one year, but it was real. I'll have to show this to my husband, he would totally appreciate it!
